The Alumni of Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron
The Alumni of Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron is an association of ex-cadets of Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. The Alumni is a non-religious and non-political Association founded in 2001 with the aim to promote unity and co-operations amongst members who seek to represent and protect their common interest as it affect their career and also to participate actively in the improvement of cadets training standard in the Academy.
Objectives:
The objectives of the Alumni shall include but not limited to the following:
To promote social interaction and welfare amongst members and encourage qualitative professional education of members.
To provide a common frontier through which members can make their voices heard by the Academy’s Authority and/or Government.
To participate actively in the Academy’s training activities to improve the training standard of the Academy by establishing scholarship and related schemes for the development of members and deserving Cadets in “MAN”
To participate actively either solely or in co-oporation with any person, group or organization having acceptable or similar aims in projects, programmes beneficial to our members.
To influence government and other related agencies to act in line with the demands and aspirations of the Oron’s Cadets in general and the Alumni in particular.
